- Learning about the issue of the missing and forcibly disappeared from a gender perspective.
- Gaining a better understanding of the psychological, social, and economic impacts of loss and disappearance on families, especially on the wife and children of the missing person.
- Recognizing the important role of women in the struggle to uncover the fate of the missing and in the peacebuilding process in Lebanon.
